At this moment, in a classroom, the students had just finished a difficult exam. Their homeroom teacher was very handsome, but only Hy didn’t like him because he always teased her for having a flat chest.
When they invited each other to go to karaoke together, Isumi immediately left early, so everyone thought he was a true otaku because he didn’t fit in with others. Suddenly, Hy also had to go home. It turned out it was time for her to clean the house. In the afternoon, she had to go to school to pick up her younger brother, so she couldn’t fit in with everyone either.
The next morning, Hy saw her younger brother fall. Luckily, a young man helped him. Hy saw the handsome guy come to her house, and it made her feel flustered. She invited him into the house for a drink.
At that moment, he felt Hy was very talented because she handled all the housework. It shocked Hy—she didn’t understand how he knew so much about her. It turned out he was Isumi! This surprised Hy because, in class, Isumi didn’t stand out at all.
The next morning, Hy invited Isumi to her house again. It surprised him; it turned out her younger brother wanted to play with Isumi. Meanwhile, Isumi felt very happy because he thought Hy would avoid him after she saw his appearance yesterday. So, Isumi thanked Hy.
Suddenly, Hy complimented Isumi’s smile, saying it was very beautiful, and she suggested he should tie his hair up. However, Isumi had to let his hair down to cover his nine piercings.
In the following days, Isumi frequently visited Hy’s house, and she came to understand him more. He was very different from what she had imagined.
At this time, they heard news that the supermarket would have a sale tomorrow. Hy was determined to buy eggs. However, the next day, Hy had a student council meeting, which left her feeling disappointed. So, she messaged Isumi, asking him to buy the eggs for her.
This shocked him because there were only 20 minutes left until the sale ended, so he had to run as fast as he could to the supermarket.
He even jumped over the school fence, which surprised the girl who saw him. By evening, Isumi managed to buy the eggs, but it left him very tired. Isumi told Hy that he had met Yuki, Hy’s best friend, and she had seen another side of him. This made Hy feel uncomfortable because she didn’t want anyone else to know about Isumi’s other side except her.
This left him confused, but Isumi said that he also liked Hy’s other side when she was at home. He admired how she was very good at cooking, often yelled whenever she got angry, left her hair messy, and had toned muscles. Isumi admitted he felt great when he was with her.
This made Hy embarrassed because she thought Isumi was confessing to her. So, Hy kept calling him an idiot. However, Isumi found Hy’s short-tempered personality very cute.
The next morning, they felt the weather was very hot, so Hy invited Isumi to go swimming. But Isumi was afraid people would see his tattoos. This surprised Hy, as it turned out that was why he always wore long sleeves.
Meanwhile, everyone noticed that Isumi and Hy had become very close lately. Suddenly, Toru came to talk to Isumi. He thought Isumi and Hy were dating. This confused Isumi, so he quickly denied it. But Toru felt they didn’t suit each other.
At this moment, Isumi realized that Toru liked Tori, which embarrassed Toru. Then they headed to their physical education class. Toru wondered why Isumi always wore long sleeves. Isumi showed Toru his tattoos, which surprised him because he always thought Isumi was just an otaku. Toru also discovered that Isumi had piercings.
At this point, Toru didn’t understand how Isumi could be so close to Hy. Isumi explained that they were just friends. So Toru asked, “Can I confess to Hy?” leaving Isumi unsure of what to say.
At this moment, Yuki got angry at Toru because he skipped the physical education class. Meanwhile, Isumi began avoiding Hy, which confused her. Suddenly, Toru wanted to talk to Hy privately. Then, Toru confessed to Hy, while Isumi thought that from today, he wouldn’t be able to come here anymore.
At this moment, Hy returned and immediately scolded Isumi because he said that he and Hy didn’t match. So, Isumi admitted he was a boring person and thought he would cause trouble for Hy. This made Hy cry because he didn’t pay attention to her feelings.
Hori then hit Isumi, making him scared because he had to endure Hy’s wrath. At this moment, Hy said she rejected Toru.
The next morning, Isumi saw Toru looking sad, so he comforted him. At this moment, Isumi went shopping with Hori. Suddenly, he heard Hy singing. He felt that she sang very well, which made Hy embarrassed.
When she got home, she met her mother. It turned out that Soda had told their mother about Isumi. When her mother heard about Isumi, she immediately asked if he was cool and said she wanted to meet him.
Suddenly, Hy realized she only knew Isumi’s last name but didn’t know his first name. This made her feel awkward because she didn’t know how to find out Isumi’s name without asking him directly. She even sneaked a peek into the boys’ locker room to see if anyone mentioned Isumi’s name.
By the evening, she still hadn’t figured out Isumi’s name. Meanwhile, Hy’s mother was very excited because she would meet Isumi tomorrow. So, Hy thought her mother could ask for his name.
The next morning, Isumi arrived at Hy’s house, making her mother very happy. Meanwhile, Isumi felt awkward because this was his first time meeting Hy’s mother.
When Hy returned, she got angry because her mother and Isumi had a private conversation, so she still didn’t know Isumi’s name. Isumi found Hy very strange because she had secretly looked into the boys’ locker room. Hy then explained the reason to Isumi, which made him laugh.
After that, Isumi wrote his full name for Hy and asked her to read it. This made Hy feel shy. She thought Isumi didn’t know her name, but unexpectedly, he knew her full name. This made her feel disappointed because she thought she was so stupid.
The next morning, the student council gave Hy a lot of work. By the afternoon, she still couldn’t go home. Meanwhile, Isumi and Toru felt like they couldn’t help at all because they were both bad at studying. It turned out that the person who asked Hy for help was the student council president, Sangoku.
He is very popular with many female students, so Isumi thinks that Hy also likes Sangoku. Suddenly, Remy comes to find Hy to get some documents. It turns out she’s Sangoku’s girlfriend.
At this moment, they feel that Hy is very pitiful because she always has to do so much work in the student council. Finally, she is able to go home, but Isumi feels that Hy is very tired. Suddenly, Remy bumps into him, which makes her worried because she’s in a hurry, so she accidentally leaves behind a set of documents.
The next morning, Isumi sees people gathering around Hy. It turns out that Sangoku is blaming her for losing a set of documents. However, she remembers giving Remy all the documents. This leaves Hy unsure of what to do because she is not at fault. When Hy is about to apologize, suddenly Isumi steps forward. He headbutts Sangoku, surprising everyone, and gives them the documents that Remy dropped. So, everyone realizes it was Remy’s fault. In the end, everything is resolved.
At this moment, Isumi doesn’t understand why Hy always has to listen to Sangoku. This makes her feel confused. It turns out that Sangoku is her childhood friend, and she has always teased him. She even used to make Sangoku do chores for her.
The next morning, Sangoku meets Isumi, which scares him. At this moment, Toru tells Isumi that Hy’s birthday is coming up. Isumi doesn’t know what to give her as a gift. That evening, Soda asks Hy, “During summer vacation, Isumi will come to visit every day, right?” Suddenly, Hy realizes she doesn’t know when Isumi will stop coming to her house.
The next morning, Soda and Isumi give Hy a birthday gift, which makes her very happy. Isumi gives her a collection of the latest trending songs. She doesn’t understand how Isumi knows she likes this, but it makes her very happy. However, they realize that in one more year, they will graduate.
At this moment, Isumi remembers his childhood. He was always disliked by his friends because they saw him as strange, so Isumi couldn’t make friends with anyone. Then, he started piercing his ears by himself. Until he was in the same class as Hy, who took the initiative to start a conversation with him, Isumi had no one. That’s when he began to have feelings for Hy.
Back to the present, they have started a new school year. While everyone is very happy because they get to stay in the same class, Isumi feels out of place because he doesn’t know if he can continue to fit in with everyone. It turns out that, before, Isumi was always left out of group assignments. But now, everyone works together on a group assignment with him, making him begin to feel the sense of having friends.
At this point, Toru comes to talk to Isumi. Isumi asks Toru what he thinks about him, so Toru starts listing Isumi’s bad traits. However, Toru admits that he thinks Isumi is very kind, and if he tied his hair up, he would look more handsome. This makes Isumi feel happy. For the first time, he feels like he has friends because, before, everyone always saw him as a weird person.
When they return to class, they are scolded by Hy because they still haven’t finished the group assignment. But Isumi sees Hy’s smile, which makes him feel very warm.
At this moment, Hy meets Remy, which makes her feel awkward. Suddenly, Remy asks, “You’re Isumi’s girlfriend, right?” But Hy denies it. So, Remy decides to flirt with Isumi, which makes Hy uncomfortable. Hy disagrees and declares, “Isumi is mine!” After that, Hy runs away.
At this moment, Hy keeps thinking about Isumi. By afternoon, Soda goes to play football. Suddenly, Isumi comes to find him, but only Hy is at home. So, they eat cake and watch a horror movie together, which makes Isumi scared.
Suddenly, Hy’s mother announces that she’ll be home late. Isumi realizes it’s just him and Hy at home, but Hy wants to continue watching more horror movies. This makes Isumi anxious because he has to watch all the horror movies with Hy.
At this moment, Isumi notices that Hy’s fingers are crooked, so he compares his hand with hers. Hy feels that Isumi’s hands are bigger than hers. Suddenly, she holds Isumi’s hand and says, “I like you.”
This makes Hy embarrassed, so she quickly says, “I like your hands.” At this moment, they are still holding hands, which makes Isumi feel warm. Suddenly, Soda returns home, so they quickly separate.
The next morning, Toru hears Remy telling the story of how she teased Hy, and how Hy said she wouldn’t let anyone have Isumi. This makes Toru disappointed at this moment.
Hy notices that Isumi’s face is injured and quickly learns that he had fought with Toru. This makes Hy angry, but as she prepares to scold Toru, she notices his face is also bruised. Confused, she asks Toru why they fought. Toru admits he lost to Isumi in the fight.
It turns out that the previous night, Toru had visited Isumi’s house. During their conversation, Toru claimed that Hy liked him, but Isumi kept denying it, insisting they were just friends. This angered Toru, leading him to punch Isumi. However, his punch accidentally landed on Isumi’s face, which enraged Isumi, prompting him to fight back and ultimately defeat Toru.
Feeling guilty, Toru apologizes, and Hy urges them to reconcile. Later, Isumi seeks out Toru to make amends.
The next morning, Toru notices documents scattered on the ground and realizes that Sakura, a fellow student council member, had dropped them. Toru helps her gather the papers, and he thinks she seems very diligent, which makes Sakura blush.
Later, Toru talks to Isumi, who offers him an ice cream. However, Toru doesn’t like melon-flavored ice cream. As they chat, they run into Sangoku, who joins them. While eating ice cream, they notice their tongues have changed color, and this amuses them. Sangoku, feeling the heat, invites them to the air-conditioned student council room.
Meanwhile, Hy and Isumi go to buy drinks. While they’re gone, Remy curiously asks if Hy and Isumi are dating. She even mentions that she feels Toru would suit Hy better, which surprises Sakura because he likes Hy.
When Hy and Isumi take longer than expected to return, Toru starts suspecting they might be up to something. Eventually, they return with the drinks, but Isumi apologizes, admitting he accidentally dropped Toru’s soda earlier, causing it to splash. Toru is relieved to learn it was nothing serious, and Sakura hands him a towel.
Later that day, Isumi visits Hy’s house to study. However, because his air conditioner is broken, the heat becomes unbearable. During their conversation, Isumi reveals that he usually sleeps without clothes, which shocks Hy. Curious about Isumi’s tattoo, she asks to see it, and to her surprise, he casually removes his shirt. This embarrasses Hy, and she scolds him for being so nonchalant, worrying he might behave the same way in front of others.
Hy feels flustered seeing Isumi shirtless. At that moment, Isumi tells her about meeting his middle school classmate, Shindo, the day before. Shindo had always struggled in school, frequently repeating grades, which made him jealous of Isumi. Shindo even assumed Hy was Isumi’s girlfriend, making Isumi uncomfortable.
Isumi assures Hy that he clarified things with Shindo, but Hy feels he didn’t need to deny it. Suddenly, Shindo sends Isumi a photo message, which makes Isumi blush. Curious, Hy tries to see the message, but Isumi deletes it immediately and calls Shindo to scold him. Hy notes how close the two seem and becomes curious about Isumi’s middle school years.
The next morning, Hy accidentally runs into Shindo. Seeing them together, Isumi becomes worried that Shindo might say something inappropriate to Hy. Without hesitation, Isumi confronts Shindo, even punching him, much to the surprise of Hy and Toru. They realize the two are close friends, though Isumi’s main goal is to send Shindo away.
Isumi recalls his middle school years, where he was often ostracized by others. Only Shindo treated him normally, which made others uncomfortable. They even advised Shindo to avoid Isumi, labeling him as strange. However, Shindo ignored them and continued spending time with Isumi, becoming the person who helped him change during that time. Now, Hy has become the one helping him change in the present.
The next morning, Hy wakes up with a fever, which worries Soda. Although Hy insists on going to school, Soda firmly makes her stay home and rest.
When Hy woke up, she was surprised to see Isumi sitting beside her. It turned out that he had come to take care of her while she was sick. As Isumi was about to get some water, Hy stopped him, not wanting him to leave. Hy admitted she often felt lonely because her mother was always busy with work and rarely at home.
Hearing this, Isumi gently said, “I will always be by your side,” which made Hy feel more at ease. After helping her take her medicine and rest, Isumi confessed, “I like you,” before leaving. His words left Hy shocked and flustered, realizing he had just confessed his feelings to her.
The next morning, Hy felt better but decided to skip school. She couldn’t stop thinking about Isumi’s confession and felt unsure how to face him. That afternoon, Soda told Hy he had seen Isumi walking to school with another girl. This news shocked Hy and made her feel uneasy. She couldn’t shake the thought that Isumi might be cheating on her, but she didn’t know how to bring it up.
The following morning, Hy returned to class but avoided Isumi entirely. Toru noticed her strange behavior and informed Isumi about it. Isumi, concerned, decided to confront Hy. When he found her, she was startled. Isumi thought Hy was avoiding him because of his confession, but instead, she asked, “Who was that girl?”
Her question surprised Isumi, and he quickly realized she was talking about Chika. He explained that Chika was Shindo’s girlfriend. Earlier, they had stumbled, and Chika had grabbed Isumi’s hand to steady herself. However, Hy remained upset, furious that Isumi had called Chika by her first name. In her anger, she threw a book at Isumi’s face and ran off.
Isumi realized that Hy was angry because he had used Chika’s first name, while Hy worried Isumi might think she was too violent. That evening, Isumi showed up at Hy’s house, returning the book she had thrown at him. Both of them felt awkward and unsure of what to say. Eventually, Hy apologized for throwing the book at his face, and Isumi explained that he didn’t know Chika’s last name, which was why he had used her first name.
Hearing this explanation, Hy’s mood brightened, and she told Isumi, “I heard your confession the other day.”
Suddenly, Hy’s father came home, surprising Isumi. He immediately asked who Isumi was and noticed his ear piercings, which intrigued him. However, Hy quickly interrupted, trying to steer the conversation. Later, her father asked Hy to help him with cooking, but when Isumi tried to leave, Hy’s father insisted he stay.
Throughout the evening, Hy’s father kept interrogating Isumi, while Hy tried to deflect his questions. At the same time, her father constantly teased Isumi, making the situation even more uncomfortable.
Feeling overwhelmed, Isumi wanted to leave, but Hy’s father suddenly asked, “Is Isumi your boyfriend?” This question left both Isumi and Hy blushing. To Isumi’s surprise, Hy admitted it, which made him feel shy. However, Hy’s father declared that he wouldn’t accept a son-in-law with long hair. Determined to win his approval, Isumi said he would cut his hair, which delighted Hy’s father.
Hy’s father then asked Isumi how he felt about dating his daughter. Isumi replied honestly, saying he liked Hy. Just then, Hy’s mother came home, worried that she hadn’t prepared dinner for their guest. Later, Hy apologized to Isumi for her father’s odd behavior. To Isumi’s surprise, Hy suddenly held his hand, which made him feel warm and strengthened his desire to stay by her side. Embarrassed by her own actions, Hy quickly ran off, leaving Isumi equally flustered.
That evening, Isumi called Toru and shared the news that he was now dating Hy. Although Toru congratulated him, he secretly felt sad because he also had feelings for Hy.
The next afternoon, Sakura noticed that Toru seemed down. Later, she ran into Remy, who remarked that Sakura seemed a bit off. Sakura admitted she liked someone and confessed that she felt insecure because she didn’t think she was as cute as Remy. However, Remy reassured her, saying Sakura looked adorable when she blushed.
Meanwhile, Isumi met Toru and sensed his awkwardness. Toru told him not to worry too much and encouraged him to focus on his relationship with Hy. Later, Isumi and Hy studied together, during which Isumi asked her to call him by his first name. This made them both shy, and Hy, flustered, called him a fool instead.
The next morning, Hy’s father, Kioske, was in high spirits because he had the day off. However, when he noticed Isumi at their house, he couldn’t resist teasing him. Kioske even invited Isumi to take a bath with him, which led to yelling from the bathroom. Hy soon realized her father had discovered Isumi’s tattoos, making the situation even more awkward.
After dinner, Kioske noticed that Isumi had his own chopsticks and a soft blanket at their house, which made him feel uncomfortable. Insisting on bonding, Kioske declared that Isumi should stay over and sleep at their place. During the night, Kioske asked Isumi what he liked about Hy. Just as Isumi was about to answer, Kioske fell asleep.
The next morning, Isumi prepared to leave for school with Hy. When they arrived, their classmates were surprised and began gossiping about the two of them dating. Some even teased Hy for choosing someone as unusual as Isumi. The comments made Isumi feel uncomfortable, so he decided it was time to make some changes.
When Isumi arrived at school, everyone was stunned—Hy included—because he had unexpectedly cut his hair. The girls immediately flocked around him, admiring his new look. Despite the attention, Isumi noticed that Hy seemed distant, almost like an ice queen, which made the atmosphere tense. However, it was clear that everyone approved of Isumi’s transformation.
Later, they ran into Shindo, who was equally surprised by Isumi’s drastic change. Shindo handed out candy to both Hy and Isumi, explaining that he had won it as a prize on a TV show. Among the candies, Isumi found a cheese-flavored one and knowingly fed it to Shindo, despite knowing Shindo disliked cheese. This made Hy suspicious of their relationship. Meanwhile, Hy accidentally ate a clay-flavored candy. In a surprising move, Isumi kissed Hy to taste the flavor, leaving her shocked.
The next morning, Isumi noticed a girl staring at him, which caught Toru’s attention as well. Hy, still preoccupied with the kiss from the day before, barely noticed. The girl, however, continued to follow Isumi throughout the day. Eventually, he confronted her, and she asked, “When are you going to break up with Hy?” This shocked everyone, as it implied that Isumi might be dating multiple people.
The girl introduced herself as Saada, and later, Isumi told Hy about her strange behavior. However, Saada continued to follow them, prompting Hy to ask her directly what she wanted. To everyone’s surprise, Saada confessed, “I like you,” but her feelings were directed at Hy, not Isumi.
This led to a rivalry between Isumi and Saada, as both tried to win Hy’s attention. Neither was willing to back down, and Saada continued her attempts to charm Hy. Eventually, Isumi pulled Hy back to class, determined not to lose to Saada.
After school, Isumi encountered Saada again and asked why she kept following him. She revealed that they lived in the same apartment complex and were even next-door neighbors. When Saada realized she had forgotten her key, Isumi invited her into his home. Saada was delighted by his hospitality, noting how kind and caring he was. This amused Isumi, and they shared a laugh.
During their conversation, Saada mentioned that she had an older brother. Afterward, she returned to her apartment, and Isumi invited her to visit again for cake. Later, Isumi’s mother told him that Saada’s older brother had passed away a year ago.
The next morning, Isumi encountered Saada again. This time, she admitted that she had been following him to meet Hy. Suddenly, a group of troublemakers appeared and began teasing Saada. Isumi quickly intervened, chasing them away. Just as the situation settled, Hy arrived on the scene.
Despite things settling, Hy noticed them still arguing later in the evening. Meanwhile, Isumi was watching a horror movie with Hy, which frightened her father so much that he ran away to hide. Suddenly, Hy asked nervously, “You haven’t done anything to me, have you?” Seeing her shy expression, Isumi couldn’t help but laugh. Just as he was about to kiss her, Kioske walked in unexpectedly, making Hy so angry that she slapped him.
The next afternoon, Yuki asked Toru to help her carry some trash and invited him to watch a movie with her. As they were walking, Toru accidentally bumped into Sakura, spilling water on her shirt. Embarrassed, Toru quickly ran off, leaving Yuki to apologize to Sakura. In their brief exchange, Sakura asked Yuki, “Are you dating Toru?” Yuki denied it immediately, which put Sakura at ease.
Moments later, Toru returned, holding a shirt for Sakura to change into. This thoughtful gesture made Sakura blush, though she genuinely liked Toru’s shirt. Later, Sakura visited the student council and asked Sang Goku what he liked about Remy. Embarrassed but honest, Sang Goku admitted that Remy helped him grow stronger and made him feel protected. Inspired by his words and remembering Remy’s encouragement, Sakura decided to take her own steps forward.
The next morning, Sakura returned Toru’s shirt and brought him some cakes, which made him very happy. Though embarrassed, Sakura felt content. Meanwhile, Hy noticed Yuki behaving strangely, as she no longer spent as much time with Toru. It turned out that Yuki was upset about Toru getting closer to Sakura. When Sakura gave Yuki some cakes as well, Yuki accepted them, even though she didn’t like them, and ate them anyway.
The following morning, Yuki asked Isumi to teach her how to bake. However, her attempt ended in failure as the cake got burned. Despite this, it became clear that Yuki was trying to bake for Toru. Suddenly, Toru arrived, shocking Yuki. When he saw the burnt cake, he ate it anyway, recognizing the effort she had put into it. He encouraged her, saying that the next cake would surely taste better. This gesture made Yuki very happy.
Meanwhile, Hy was feeling down because Isumi had taken time off to visit his hometown, though they still exchanged texts. However, when Isumi’s phone ran out of battery and he didn’t have his charger, Hy became increasingly anxious, waiting for three days without hearing from him. Her distraction and unease were noticeable to everyone around her.
Finally, the day Isumi was set to return arrived. Unable to contain her anxiety, Hy rushed to Isumi’s house. Coincidentally, as Isumi had just returned and saw her messages, he immediately ran out to find her. They bumped into each other in the elevator, and Hy hugged him tightly, relieved that he was back.
Later, as they prepared to watch a movie together, Hy kept choosing horror films, which terrified Isumi. When she tried to hold his hand, he excused himself to the bathroom, making Hy worry that he wanted to leave her. Feeling insecure, she began doubting herself, thinking she wasn’t cute enough. However, Isumi comforted her, saying, “The person I love isn’t anyone else—it’s you.” His words restored her confidence, and she hugged him.
Since it was raining, Isumi stayed over in Hy’s room, and they shared a kiss. The next morning, Soda cried, feeling like Isumi had taken his sister away. Isumi reassured him, saying he hadn’t taken Hy away and promised to take good care of her. He even asked Soda if he could entrust Hy to him, which calmed Soda down.
Meanwhile, Remy was reminiscing about how she and Sang Goku had started dating. She recalled seeing him reading a book and initially mistaking it for a manga, only to find out it was a literary novel. Since Remy enjoyed reading novels, the two began exchanging books, which made Sang Goku happy as it helped him connect with her. Over time, Remy discovered that Sang Goku had an impressive collection of books at home. Among them, she unexpectedly found a book about the apocalypse.
Remy joked that if the apocalypse happened, she would spend all her money on candy, which surprised Sang Goku. The next morning, Remy returned a book to Sang Goku, but his two friends appeared jealous. Sang Goku explained to them that although they liked Remy, she wasn’t interested in them. However, he worried they might misunderstand the situation.
That afternoon, Remy visited Sang Goku’s house again to borrow more books. Suddenly, she asked, “If tomorrow were the apocalypse, what would you do?” Blushing, Sang Goku replied, “I would confess to you,” which left Remy stunned. As Sang Goku grew more embarrassed, Remy smiled and admitted that she liked him too, making him incredibly happy.
Back in the present, Hy was painting Isumi’s toenails. Out of nowhere, Isumi placed his foot on Hy’s head, saying he wanted to feel like he had “leveled up” since Hy had been “suppressing him” for so long. He quickly apologized, but Hy found this side of him intriguing and started imagining him scolding her, which oddly excited her.
The next morning, Toru noticed Isumi acting strangely, which puzzled everyone. It turned out Hy had forced him to behave more assertively, wanting him to be more aggressive. However, Isumi couldn’t bring himself to fully embrace the role. Later, when Hy and Isumi were alone in the classroom, carrying documents, Isumi decided to indulge Hy’s wish. He grabbed her collar and scolded her. By coincidence, two female students saw this and were terrified. Meanwhile, Hy was secretly delighted.
After returning to the classroom, Hy and Isumi noticed Yuki behaving oddly. Yuki explained that she had received a confession but didn’t know how to turn the person down. Isumi suggested she find someone to pretend to be her boyfriend, then called Toru for help. Toru agreed and held Yuki’s hand as they went to meet the guy who confessed to her.
When the confessor, Yunagi, arrived, Toru was shocked—Yunagi was extremely handsome. Hy thought Yunagi completely overshadowed Toru, but to everyone’s surprise, Yuki rejected Yunagi. This confused Hy, who couldn’t understand why Yuki turned him down. Toru, meanwhile, felt utterly defeated.
After school, Yuki approached Yunagi to clarify, thinking he might have confessed to the wrong person. However, Yunagi insisted, “The person I confessed to is you.” At that moment, Hy’s group arrived and quickly realized Yunagi’s eyesight was very poor, explaining his confusion.
Later, Hy tied Isumi’s hair, which attracted the attention of several girls. Their excitement made Hy jealous, and she hit Isumi in frustration. Hy remained irritated because the other girls kept fawning over him. While walking, Isumi unexpectedly ran into Tanara, one of the bullies from his middle school days. Tanara began teasing Isumi, but Isumi didn’t respond, as he still felt intimidated.
Seeing this, Hy became furious and hit the bullies herself. Shindo witnessed the scene and was shocked to see Tanara being beaten. Meanwhile, Tanara couldn’t stop thinking about Isumi’s “terrifying girlfriend,” and Shindo warned him not to mess with Isumi like he used to.
Hy was determined to see Isumi’s violent side again, so she kept provoking him. Suddenly, they ran into Shindo, who scolded Isumi for giving in to Hy’s demands. As Hy began to get angry, Isumi, wanting to keep her away from Shindo, acted violently and pulled her aside.
Later, Tanara and his group were hanging out in front of a convenience store when they encountered Hy again. She scolded them for littering, frightening them so much that Tanara quickly picked up the trash. When they noticed Isumi seemingly hitting Hy, Tanara became even more terrified, while Hy was overjoyed since this behavior satisfied her desire to see Isumi act aggressively.
Afterward, Isumi went to Hy’s house and confided in Kiok about Hy’s strange behavior. Kiok suggested that Hy might be pushing Isumi because she wanted to see a big change in him. Isumi understood, but before they could discuss further, Hy kicked them out of the house, claiming she needed to clean the bathroom.
The next morning, Toru and Isumi ran into Taii, who turned his back on them and walked away. Isumi realized that Taii disliked him because he also had feelings for Hy. Later, Isumi remembered leaving his phone in the classroom and coincidentally bumped into Taii again. Taii helped Isumi by calling his number, only to discover that Isumi’s phone had been in his pocket all along. This infuriated Taii, who couldn’t understand how someone like Isumi could be dating Hy.
Isumi then asked Taii, “Do you dare to hit Hy?” Taii admitted he couldn’t do that, which was why he believed he wasn’t suitable for her. At that moment, Hy appeared, and Isumi scolded her in front of Taii. Hy, to everyone’s surprise, was delighted by this behavior. Taii, however, thought Isumi was incredibly cool for doing what he himself lacked the courage to do.
The next day, Tanara visited Isumi’s family bakery, surprising him. Tanara explained that he wanted to try their baked goods but found the shop closed, so he promised to return another day. This gesture made Isumi happy, as it felt like Tanara was trying to reconcile.
Tanara, reflecting on their middle school days, realized he had ignored Isumi back then. The two had been tasked with caring for rabbits, but when Tanara forgot to bring food, the rabbits died, and he blamed Isumi for it. Now, Tanara felt that Isumi had forgiven him, and Isumi, in turn, was pleased they had made peace.
As the cold winter set in, Hy found herself feeling chilly. She and Isumi ran into Tanara, and Hy noticed some awkwardness between them. This made her angry, thinking Tanara was trying to steal Isumi away from her. However, Tanara explained that Shindo was actually the closest person to Isumi, revealing that Shindo had even worn Isumi’s clothes before.
Suddenly, Shindo appeared, and Hy saw him acting friendly with Isumi, which infuriated her further. Tanara, sensing Hy’s anger, dragged Shindo away. Hy, however, grew anxious, fearing that Isumi might fall for someone else. She pressured him, saying that if he ever loved someone else, it should be a woman.
The next morning, Isumi told his friends to stay away from him, possibly to avoid further misunderstandings. Meanwhile, Yuki was out shopping with her sister when they unexpectedly ran into Yunagi. Yuki’s sister assumed Yunagi was Yuki’s boyfriend, but when she learned Yuki had rejected him, she was shocked. Yunagi, still under the impression that Toru was Yuki’s boyfriend, walked away.
Meanwhile, Sakura overheard rumors that Yuki and Toru were dating, which made her jealous. Yuki also became aware of Sakura’s misunderstanding but didn’t know how to address it.
She talked to Remy about it because she knew Sakura liked Toru, and she didn’t want to deceive anyone any longer. By that time, Yuki had missed several days of school, which made Hy worried. Toru hadn’t received any messages from Yuki either. Meanwhile, Yuki’s sister was pressuring her to return to school and scolded her for never letting anyone know what she truly wanted. She told Yuki that if she wanted something, she had to go after it.
At that moment, Yuki checked her phone and saw a message from Toru saying that Sakura had confessed her feelings to him that day. The next morning, Yuki returned to school, and everyone was happy to see her back. Suddenly, Toru asked to speak with her privately. Yuki thought Toru had agreed to date Sakura, but Toru clarified that Sakura hadn’t asked him for an answer yet, as she assumed Toru and Yuki were already together. He also didn’t deny the possibility of dating Yuki.
Yuki admired Sakura’s courage for confessing, realizing that Sakura had the bravery to express her feelings, something Yuki had been avoiding. She felt that Sakura was warmer than she was. Meanwhile, Toru remembered the time when he pretended to be Yuki’s boyfriend and how happy he felt being with her. He took her hand, and they both felt a comforting warmth.
Meanwhile, Sangoku noticed that Sakura was acting strangely. Suddenly, she saw Toru and Yuki together, which made her feel sad because she had been rejected before even confessing. Sangoku angrily scolded whoever had rejected Sakura, claiming there was something wrong with their mind, which made Sakura cry.
The next morning, Toru surprised everyone by revealing that Shu had a younger sister. It turned out that the previous year, Toru had visited Shu’s house and met his younger sister, who was very introverted, a stark contrast to Shu’s outgoing personality. Just then, Shu entered the classroom. Yanagi thought Shu was funny, while Hy thought Yanagi was very polite. He only felt truly comfortable when he was around Yuki, which made Toru a bit jealous.
At that moment, Shu noticed how close everyone had become and suggested they start calling each other by their first names. Yanagi, however, still felt shy. Just then, Sangoku arrived, and they used him as an example, since everyone had become close to him. This made Yanagi feel more at ease, and he began to open up more.
Later, Isumi brought Sada to meet Toru and Sangoku. It turned out that Sada had a fear of boys, so Isumi wanted to help her. Sangoku gave Sada some chocolate, and Toru also offered her candy, both of them competing to be kind. Shu also showed up, but his loud voice frightened Sada, making her hesitant to get too close to him. Shu, feeling hopeless, didn’t know what to do.
The next day, everyone noticed that Shu was sick and told him to go to the nurse’s office. By chance, he ran into Sada, who was struggling with some heavy bags. He helped her, which surprised her, but since Shu had a sore throat and couldn’t speak, Sada misunderstood his actions.
She thought Shu was angry with her. The next morning, Shu had recovered and was able to speak again. Meanwhile, Sada was peeking at Shu from outside the door when she suddenly ran into Sakura. Sada told Sakura that she thought Shu was angry with her, but Sakura assured her she had never seen Shu get mad at anyone. Just then, Shu noticed Sada, but his loud voice startled her, making her feel uncomfortable, and she ran away. Despite the discomfort, she was relieved because it seemed Shu wasn’t actually mad at her.
At that moment, Shu noticed his little sister, Matoko, was feeling down. It turned out that Matoko had been mocked by a teacher because the school she wanted to apply to had very high entrance scores. When Shu found out that the school was so prestigious, he was shocked. He said, “Your grades are really bad, aren’t they?” This comment made Matoko angry. However, Shu soon realized that Matoko had been working hard, as her books were old and worn out. He told her to keep trying, and if the teacher continued mocking her, he would go and beat up whoever was making fun of her. This made Matoko cry.
The next morning, Shu asked Hy to tutor his sister. When Matoko entered Hy’s house, she met Isumi and Sada. Hy noticed that Matoko looked very similar to Shu, though she was much quieter than him. Hy sensed that Matoko was tense, so she decided to start a conversation with her. She shared a lot about her older brother, hoping to ease Matoko’s discomfort. Hy felt they were growing close, but Matoko thought that Shu hated her.
Meanwhile, Shu was still worried about his sister, and he also felt that Matoko didn’t like him. As Christmas approached, Sada wanted to invite his friends over to his house. Hy’s father also wanted to invite his son-in-law over, so Hy invited Isumi to spend Christmas at her house. However, Isumi had to help out at his family’s bakery on Christmas, which surprised both Sada and Hy’s father, as Isumi wouldn’t be able to attend. Isumi quickly ran off to attend to his obligations.
Later, Toru told Shu and Sangoku that he felt his relationship with Yuki was beyond friendship, but they weren’t yet lovers. This confused both Shu and Sangoku. Even though Toru liked Yuki a lot, he wasn’t sure how to change the nature of their relationship.
The next morning, Yuki went to find Toru and suggested they go to his house to play video games. Toru felt nervous but agreed. By the afternoon, when Yuki saw Toru’s house, she was surprised by how large it was. She didn’t expect that they would have to walk so quietly through the house. Yuki thought Toru might be worried about his parents finding out. When they entered the room, Toru locked the door and took off his tie, which shocked Yuki.
At that moment, Toru realized that he and Yuki were alone together, making both of them feel embarrassed. Suddenly, Toru’s older sister tried to enter the room, having realized that Toru had brought a girl home. Toru quickly stopped her from coming in. Yuki thought the woman was Toru’s sister, and when she saw Toru, she felt very happy. Toru’s sister invited Yuki to have some cake, but Toru quickly explained that she was the family’s maid, Yashara. It turned out that Yuki had asked too many questions, and Toru was worried she might figure things out.
Noticing that Yuki seemed worried, Toru gently patted her head and suggested they play video games together, which made both of them feel better. Shortly afterward, Yashara entered with the cake, and they realized it was from Aum’s Family Bakery.
The next day, Remy invited Sangoku to spend Christmas at her house, which made him nervous. However, Sangoku insisted that she should come to his house instead, which made Remy cry. As a result, everyone decided to “punish” Sangoku. It turned out that Sangoku was really scared of going to Remy’s room because she had a collection of insects as decorations.
Meanwhile, Hy’s mom was very happy to see that Hy’s grades were excellent. Suddenly, Hy realized that she was about to graduate, and she wasn’t sure what she would do after graduation. Finally, Christmas arrived, and everyone went out together. While Shu bought a lot of food for Aoko, which made her very happy, Sangoku remained worried about the insects in Remy’s room.
At this time, Hy’s father still wanted to meet Isumi, but Hy explained that Isumi was very busy today. However, shortly afterward, Isumi arrived at Hy’s house, bringing cakes for everyone, which made them all very happy. Unfortunately, Isumi had to leave soon after, which disappointed everyone. Hy saw him off, and at that moment, she told him that even though she didn’t know him completely yet, she wanted to be with him forever. Isumi, shy but touched, responded by saying, “Let’s get married,” which surprised Hy, as she had expected him to say something like that instead. Both of them were shy, and just then, Isumi’s mother called, so he had to rush back to the bakery.
Later, Isumi and Hy were able to go on a date together, and this made Hy incredibly happy because she was able to spend time with him. The next morning, Yuki felt anxious because their graduation ceremony was approaching, and everyone had to take their personal belongings home. Isumi noticed that Toru had a lot of things packed, while Shu arrived with very few personal belongings, which surprised everyone.
It turned out that Isumi had been bringing a little bit of his things home every day. Suddenly, everyone remembered they still hadn’t returned the movie discs to Shu, so he had to take a lot of them home. At that moment, Isumi was sitting at the heated table with Hy, but Hy had fallen asleep. So, Isumi gently let her lie on his lap. He reflected that if he hadn’t taken Sada home that day, he would never have gotten close to Hy or to the others. He would have remained lonely until graduation.
Suddenly, Hy woke up and noticed Isumi seemed absent-minded. She didn’t understand why he was so distracted. Isumi asked, “If we weren’t connected, do you think there could be another world for us?” Hy responded that they were meant to be together, which made Isumi believe that destiny always brings people together.
Finally, the graduation ceremony arrived. While Sangoku was preparing to give his speech, Isumi sneezed, which caused everyone to laugh. This made Sangoku nervous, and he couldn’t read his speech smoothly. Afterward, he scolded Isumi, but fortunately, Isumi managed to escape to the rooftop. There, he met his past self and realized how much he had changed, which made him very happy.
While everyone was taking pictures, Toru unexpectedly ran into Sakura, which left him speechless. However, Sakura thanked him, saying she liked him, and this would be a memory they both would cherish.
Meanwhile, Yuki met Yanagi, who told her he was about to get his driver’s license and planned to invite everyone on a trip. This news made Yuki very happy. At that moment, Hy’s father also came to the school to congratulate her, but his sloppy appearance made Hy angry. Despite his casual attire, he still wanted to take pictures with his son-in-law.
Afterward, Hy invited Isumi to her house to celebrate, which made him very happy. He remembered the first time he met Hy—she was the one who changed him and pulled him out of the darkness. He promised himself that he would bring happiness to her.
